Linking everyday consumerism to grave environmental concerns

What's the problem?

We are a sustainable development organisation working with young people to build an environmentally sound, socially just and economically viable future. Our work is primarily focused on education and awareness-raising. We aim to inspire and empower young people to act as conscious consumers and active global citizens, by providing the next generation of leaders with the tools to grasp the urgency of a system in crisis – and the opportunity to boldly re-imagine a new future.

As the decision makers of tomorrow, we believe young people are a crucial lever for change. By leveraging their consumer power and allowing them to participate as fully informed citizens, they can play a vital role in creating a sustainable life.

What's the problem?

The problem essentially lies in the secret life of materials: the entire ‘story’ or life-cycle of materials and the consequences are hidden before, during and after consumer use. The gap between our perception and the stark reality is wider than ever. We urgently need a new way of seeing the world and a new way of thinking to transform the way we live, so that we – and future generations – can live life without it costing the earth.

If you are concerned that the small steps we’re taking aren’t enough to match the scale of the problem and want to find out more, check out our expose… learn… adapt…sustain resources. If you’re bothered about your future and want to do something about it, join us and get involved…

Come and join us...
